Building an inclusive and positive community of anglers through education, outings, and conservation projects.

There is a need in the Blaine County Community for an inclusive place that provides friendly education to anglers of all backgrounds and economic levels.

Our local rivers and lakes are under more pressure than ever with climate change and an increase in population. Because of the absence of education and resources for a large portion of our local population, anglers are inadvertently causing unnecessary harm to our waters. Our goal is to appeal to local minority groups - especially women, the immigrant community, and low income community members - to facilitate educational opportunities and provide community outreach programs that help reduce the barriers to entry for our underserved minority population in Sun Valley and neighboring Blaine County towns.

a 3-day fly fishing & conservation education summer camp for kids ages 9-13, taking place on June 26, 27, & 28 in the wood river valley.

Pyramid Lake Trip Recap

A special shout out to everybody who joined us for our mid-March trip down to Pyramid Lake in Nevada! We spent the week enjoying each others company, sharing food, flies, & techniques, making new friends, and catching some beautiful Lahontan Cutthroats. Want to join us next year? Make sure to become a member for early announcements on future trips!

march member spotlight

March’s catch of the month goes to Eric Eberhard for (one of his many) Lahontan Cutthroats from our group trip to Pyramid Lake! The fishing was genuinely pretty terrible, but Eric caught the most out of all of us and spent 5 days in his float tube!
