Join us for an afternoon of ice fishing on Magic Reservoir! We will be meeting at the West Magic Boat Ramp at 10:00 AM and venture out onto the ice shortly after. This is a perfect intro for anybody who has never ice fished before, those who don’t have all the gear to do it on their own, or anybody who just wants to join a fun group day on the ice!

All gear and equipment will be provided, just bring a warm drink and dress in warm layers! We recommend warm moisture-wicking base layers, waterproof shoes/boots, hand and toe warmers, and a thick insulation layer like snow pants or bibs, a toasty jacket, gloves and a hat, and sunglasses. If you want to bring your own ice fishing gear, we encourage you to do so!

Ice fishing is a weather dependent activity and although we should be in good shape to get out on the ice by early February, we will update with any changes to the plan as the date gets closer.

In an effort to be able to better plan for this event, there will be a $5 charge to attend. We hope that by adding a small charge to these events, it will ensure that those who RSVP “yes” are committed to attending so that we are able to adequately plan for the necessary gear and equipment required to put on the event.

If the cost of attending an event or obtaining a membership presents a financial obstacle, we encourage you to reach out to us directly and we will make sure you are signed up without requiring payment.
